Reflecting on Token2049: A Week of Good Chaos in Singapore

Last week, the Angle42 team joined over 20,000 attendees at Token2049, Asia’s largest annual crypto conference, held in the bustling city-state of Singapore.

With hundreds of side events and even more energy drawn by Formula 1, the city was alive with a palpable sense of momentum and innovation. Our mission was clear: to support our clients in making their mark amid the noise and excitement. From immersive theater (HashKey Capital) and speed chess tournaments (Lava Network) to deep tech panels (Livepeer) and dynamic debates, we facilitated impactful engagements that allowed our clients’ stories to stand out. We coordinated media interactions with outlets like The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Decrypt, and Coindesk to amplify those stories to a global audience.

One of the highlights of the week came from an unexpected moment. While navigating through the many conference activities, I bumped into founders of my very first clients, one after the other, Marcelo García Casil and Renat Khasanshyn. The reunion was a reminder of how far we’ve come in this fast-evolving industry. It’s hard to believe we’re now seen as “OGs” in the space, but that’s a testament to the depth of experience and relationships we’ve built over the years.

In many ways, Token2049 felt like a return to crypto’s roots—an ecosystem built on innovation, collaboration, and resilience. Even with the many ups and downs the industry has faced, the energy in Singapore was undeniable. Conversations with seasoned leaders and fresh talent alike revealed an industry poised to continue its growth despite the challenges. And with each event, it becomes clearer: blockchain’s potential as a force for good is within reach, but only if we can harness the momentum and keep building.

After 40 hours of flying from Miami to Singapore and back, I can confidently say it was all worth it. The knowledge exchanged, the relationships strengthened, and the inspiration gained will no doubt fuel our work in the coming months. Our clients continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in Web3, and we’re proud to support them every step of the way.

A heartfelt thank you to our hosts in Asia, and to everyone who shared their insights and passion at Token2049. As we move forward, we’re more inspired than ever to help Web3 realize its full potential on the global stage.

Our successes have helped our partners grow their share of voice, attract new investors and investments, and lay the foundation for future growth.
